Hallo Freunde der australischen Lebennsart und der australischen Casemixkonferenz,
wie ich gestern erfahren musste, wird die australische Casemixkonferenz nun nur noch zweijährlich stattfinden. Die nächste Konferenz wird vom 29.08.2004 bis zum 01.09.2004 in Canberra veranstaltet. Ich hoffe, dass dies evtl. bei der diesjährigen Reiseplanung hilft.
Hier dazu von den Veranstaltern im Original:
"The Department has decided that the Casemix Conference is to become a biennial
event from 2003. This decision was discussed with and supported by a number of
key stakeholders.
Holding the conference biennially will:
free funds currently used for health sector personnel to attend the annual
conference, to provide new opportunities to attend other conferences;
increase the breadth of opportunities for papers at the conference, and
possibly enhance the quality of such papers;
ensure the program committee has extended time to develop the program; and
allow more time to promote the focus on broader health services management
and policy aspects of casemix.
The next Casemix Conference will be held from 29 August - 1 September 2004, at
the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
